It’s not everyday that fashion’s brightest get honored on such a global level, that’s why it’s such a huge feather in Franca Sozzani’s hat to be the recipient of the Legion of Honour. She was given this award by President Sarkozy who was accompanied by his wife Carla Bruni.

She has an important role in the discovery of new talents and has distinguished herself for having opened the doors of this world always looking for synergies with other sectors of the market. A brave woman for being output from the classical canons of fashion and giving space on Vogue Italia to the black and curvy reality. French fashion has to thank this Italian Editor-in chief for the support that she has brought to the fashion world in these years”
