I really liked Hosanna when it first came out, and now there’s a remix version of it as well! In fact, I think I prefer the remix – love the fun beat, it gives the song a different vibe entirely. Check out the song and let us know what you think! It’s been remixed by DJ Khushi, who earlier did the remixes for Chammak Challo and Chikni Chameli. We knew he was really excited to be remixing an A R Rahman track, so we asked him to tell us a little bit more about what it was like – here’s what he said!
DJ Khushi: “I met Rahman very briefly at the Filmfare Awards in Mumbai, where I was playing. His aura and presence were so strong. The moment he entered, I felt a different energy in the room. I always wanted to work with him, and my wish came true very soon when I got a call from Sony Music, who offered me a Rahman track. I jumped on it without asking any details. I sent them a demo, which was approved and is now released. Couldn’t have asked for more. The feeling of being associated with Rahman’s work is an incomparable high.”
