Levi’s and Water.org have worked together to spread awareness of the wastage of water and how you can take measures to help provide water to those who don’t have access to it. Acknowledging their part of water consumption in the manufacturing process of their jeans, which shockingly takes up 42liters of water, Levi’s has come up with ways to reduce this number by 96%. Thus creating a collection that is called Water<Less. Next time you think of buying a pair of jeans, maybe you can opt for a pair that has conserved rather than wasted water. Matt Damon and Gary White who are the founders of Water.org run this NGO that help to bring safe water and sanitation to areas such as Africa, South Asia and Central America.
