It’s interesting to note that just before a Bollywood film releases, the stars, cast and crew of the film begin to flock en mass to religious shrines to pray in earnest for a good release and make offerings to the gods. More interesting is the fact that numerous photos of these pious souls begin mysteriously circulating to the press.
And if it’s a mega star, special reporters are flown-in to cover the “event” and the stars in turn, make it look like their privacy has been intruded upon! Nice cat-and-mouse game!
Earlier this week, actor Kunal Kemmu was spotted at the famous Dargah of the Islamic Saint, Hazrat Khawaja Gharib Nawaz, in Ajmer – no doubt praying for the success of Blood Money, which releases next Friday.
Let’s hope the good saint has heard his prayers and that Kunal delivers a hit for the Bhatts!
