Earth Hour

Earth Hour is an annual event that motivates people to switch off non-essential lights for one hour between 8:30pm and 9:30pm, in an attempt to raise awareness of climate change. This year, the Taj chain of hotels are switching off their lights to support the cause.

That’s 97 hotels in total across India that will go dark for an hour, all to encourage people to take positive actions for the environment and show their commitment to the planet. Previously, iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Buckingham Palace and Golden Gate Bridge have done the same in support of this movement.

So will you be going dark today? Let us know what your plans are for Earth hour!
