The younger lot of fashion designers are a pretty peeved lot, these days! Just recently, Raakesh Agarvwal accused a Mumbai-based socialite of ripping-off his designs and hawking similar stuff under her own label. And now, Masaba Gupta is also ticked-off with the moneyed-lot for being rude to the staff in her boutique!
While she won’t name names, Masaba is pretty clear that no matter how much money you have, you’re not welcome at her boutiques if you don’t know how to behave with the sales-girls.
She writes on her Facebook wall:
And rightly said. Just because they are buying your stuff, they think they’re doing you a favour, very sad! Next time Masaba should show them up by naming them in public. That should teach them a lesson or two in humility.
