Well, we know Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have a good friendship going for them. Which is why, when Salman was offered big bucks to compete with Aamir, he refused.
Aamir’s upcoming television debut with Satyameva Jayate is already fetching a lot of interest and many believe he will generate high TRPs. Since television is all a TRPs game, this is troubling for many other TV channels who figure they’ll lose eyeballs to Aamir Khan. The best way to gain more viewers is to have a TRP-fetching star on board, so of course several of the TV channels turned to Salman. They began sending him scripts with various ideas for shows that would run at the same time as Aamir’s and thus reduce the number of viewers they’d lose.
However, Salman has apparently refused all offers in a show of loyalty to Aamir, who has invested a lot of himself into the show. Good decision, I guess you can reserve your Sunday mornings for only one Khan – unless Shah Rukh Khan wants to jump into this mess? 😉
