It’s been a while since we’ve seen Slumdog Millionaire’s Dev Patel on screen – big or small! But come June 2012, he’ll be playing an important role in the new HBO TV series, The Newsroom.
Dev plays a news reporter called Neal at the fictional TV news channel, Atlantis Cable News. The series also stars veteran actress Jane Fonda who plays the role of Leona Lansing, the formidable CEO of Atlantis World Media, the parent company of ACN. Here’s a trailer of the new show:
