Cricket Yuvraj Singh was the focus of all eyes at the Sports Illustrated Awards in New Delhi on March 4th. The World Cup hero accepted the evening’s top award for Sportsperson of the Year and delivered a heartwarming speech in one of his first public appearances post his cancer treatment.

Most importantly, Yuvi was presented with the #love12 fan poster – a laborious effort by Yuvi’s fans on Twitter, wishing him well when he was receiving treatment. It was handed-over to him by Puma’s South Asia MD, Rajiv Mehta.

For those who don’t already know, The #love12 movement (launched and promoted by Yuvraj in association with Puma) has come to symbolize a day (12th of every month) that is reserved for having fun, being creative and making a positive impact on the world.

We approve!
