Katrina Kaif recently unveiled the new logo of Nakshatra, the jewellery brand she endorses. We already told you about how lovely she looked at the event, and now we have some more pictures and details for you to check out, like what she said about marriage, Ranbir Kapoor, and working with the 3 Khans!
One of the first questions Katrina was asked was that since the brand’s logo had changed, was she going to follow them and change something about herself as well? Katrina very smartly tossed the question back at the journalist and asked him what he would like to change about her. Of course, he had nothing to say to that, so just sort of trailed off with, “Well, if you got married…”
Katrina laughingly said, “I’ll tell you one thing. To get married, I need to get asked. So when I get asked, I’ll let you know my answer.” Of course, some smartass journo didn’t want to let the issue drop, so just as she was walking off the stage, her answer was brought up again. The journo said, “Since you were talking about getting married, there’s a lot going around about you and Ranbir Kapoor…”
At this time the PR people were clamoring over each other to get her to avoid the question, but Katrina just smiled and said, “I was getting happy for a second because I thought you were going to tell me about someone who wants to marry me.” And then she smilingly left the stage. Phew, someone’s getting good with the media!
Now that she’s working with all the 3 Khans, she was asked whether she would allow them to work with any other leading ladies (because, you know, Katrina owns them and all *eyeroll*). Thankfully, Katrina resisted giving the journo a “WTF?” expression, and instead made a joke of it by saying, “If I had a choice? No! But I can’t stop anyone from working with anyone.” But she did say that she is fortunate to work with them all – especially since it’s her first time working with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.
One of the funniest things at the event was when someone started asking, “These days, the jewellery craze is not only for women, even men are really into jewellery… like Bappida for example.” Katrina butted in then and said, “I think we should work together for one of these ads. Maybe he can sing or a compose a song?” Sorry, Katrina, but if Bappi’s working on a jewellery ad, I sure as hell bet he’ll be on–screen and not off!
Speaking about her jewellery taste, Katrina says she prefers minimal jewellery; just simple, gracious pieces are more her style. Which is evident by the lovely earrings and elegant bracelet she was wearing.
