Yesterday, the funniest thing happened. Eros Now released the soundtrack of Teri Meri Kahaani, which had a song by the title “That’s All I Really Wanna Do.” Several fans started tweeting about it (most notably the Shanatics!), and before long, the song title appeared on the Twitter Trends list in India. Except… many people who saw the trends list thought it was just another one of those Twitter things, and started tweeting about the things they really wanted to do. It caught on, and before long, it became the number one trended topic worldwide… and very few people realized that it was a Hindi film song!
Even Kunal Kohli and Shahid Kapoor tweeted in about the trending:
I’ve seen a lot of things trend on Twitter, but this is the first time I’ve realized something has been “accidentally trending” *lol* Too funny; I guess the team of Teri Meri Kahaani really has all those Justin Bieber Twitter-obsessed fans to thank for helping trend their song?!
That aside, what do you think of the track? I like the fun vibe, and Shaan‘s voice is perfect for such songs. But now whenever I hear this song, I’m gonna think of Twitter and the accidental trending! *lol*
