I must confess… I have been thrown in the deep end (and loving it!) It was only a couple of months ago when I found out I landed my dream job in Fashion PR and would be working with Steve Madden. Then I jetted off back to New Zealand for a quick break from my favourite city; and a bit of fresh air and serenity! Calm – before the inevitable storm. My first project on hand – The Red Shoe Soiree!

Last week we hosted an event to announce the launch of the Red Shoe Soiree Facebook APP. There were scrumptious cupcakes (red velvet – the person who introduced me to these has now become my bestest friend!) and champagne tinged with a bit of gossip! High heeled fashionistas mingled and boldly confessed their secrets. Amongst the gorgeous ladies were Nishka Lulla, Natasha Chib, Parveen Dusanj and Anjana Sharma. Maybe this valor was induced by the delish Sula Brut Pink sparkling wine… but I guess we’ll never know! 😉 Some confessions were cute and sweet while others were well…. downright outrageous!

Juhi Pande (Celeb VJ) confesses:

“It’s not really a secret because about 400 people were privy to it. But I was 18 and it was the seniors send off since we were all graduating from high school. I was called on stage for something, and I was completely in love with a fellow classmate and I was certain he’d notice me once I was on stage. So, with a little bit of swag, I remember going up on stage, wearing an off white sari and heels, and as I was walking up, my sari got caught in my shoes, and I sort of did an awkward front roll. In front of all my batch mates. And some juniors. So, yeah. I did get noticed, but not in the way I’d wanted to. I almost swore off wearing heels that day. But it lasted about a week.”

Sonalika Sahay (Supermodel – The face of Christian Dior watches in India) confesses:

“I wanna confess about this one time in college hostel, when I stole the secret diary of a friend of mine and read it. And to my surprise it was filled with hate notes for ME. So what did I do to get even… I took all her love letters from the diary and quietly pinned it on the college bulletin board, for all to read.”
