We received photos of the cast of The Peddlers, at the Cannes Film Festival and while we’re so happy that the film is being screened at such a huge international platform, we weren’t to thrilled with the choice of garments they wore to this event, which has the lenses of the world’s press scrutinizing every wrinkle on one’s outfit!
While Kriti Malhotra’s sparkly black gown is nothing to write home about, Nimrit Kaur’s fuchsia pink number looks too off-the-rack and not suited for her figure.
Also, the blue bracelet and silver shoes don’t go with the fuchsia gown! Too much of a miss-match.
When in doubt ladies, wear a saree, preferably a hand-woven masterpiece which will not only show-off our able craftsmanship to the world, but also suit your body-type and make you look like India’s ambassador to the world!
