Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who produced Rowdy Rathore, has many nice things to say about Akshay Kumar. Bhansali claims his own mother whistled throughout the movie, laughing at and loving Akshay’s one-liners. He also spoke about Akshay’s professionalism and dedication; here’s what he said!

Says Sanjay Leela Bhansali, “It was a pleasure working with him. There was not a single moment of drama, complaint or ego issue. He would be ready for a 9 am shift, in make-up and costume.”
He goes on to say that he thinks Rowdy Rathore will be Akshay’s “crowning glory” – and considering the sort of box office collections this film has received (Akshay’s highest opener to date, says trade analyst Taran Adarsh), I’d agree with Bhansali on this.
