After I Hate Luv Storys, Punit Malhotra will once again be directing Imran Khan under the Dharma Productions banner. Here’s what Punit had to say about working with Imran:
Punit Malhotra says: “I always wanted Imran for my film. He was my first choice. We did have some differences on the script initially and lost around six months in sorting that out. But now we are both on the same page. There’s a method to all our madness. Imran, Karan and I are at a happy place as far as this film goes.”
It’s a love story, but has “much more to offer” according to Punit. They are still on the lookout for a female lead, and want to make sure they get it just right, since she’ll have a challenging role and will need to have great chemistry with Imran.
