Artist and designer Rashmi Dogra opened her boutique, Fluke, at Versova in Mumbai last evening and once you step in to this small yet cozy space, it’s like falling through the rabbit hole into Alice’s Wonderland, for everything here is not as it seems.

Stocked high from wall-to-wall with colourful artifacts, jewelry, art-deco pieces, bags, trinkets and even a chandelier made of metal buckets,  your senses are sent into sheer overdrive with the array of colours that vie for your attention.

Cutie actress Neha Dhupia, who wore one of Rashmi’s hand-painted necklaces (and a nice Zara jacket) wanted to “Buy up everything in sight” and said that she already had a number of Rashmi’s personalized pieces decorating her home!

Even director Farah Khan couldn’t get enough of the wide variety of treasures that were on display and fancied the bags and digitally printed tops, in particular. Of course, she too wore a necklace by Rashmi, to the opening.
