It’s quite literally an Indian summer! The principality of Malta and Monaco under the patronage of HRH Prince Albert of Monaco is all set to host a swish soiree for over three days. Bollywood royalty, the Bachchan’s are said to be the chief guests at the 17th edition of the Bal De l’Ete set to take place from 22nd to 24th June.
The theme of the event is “Princess of Rajasthan” where guests will be treated to Indian food and music.
Day one of the event is a special Masala cocktail to be held at the Beach club, day two includes a special gala dinner that is to be held under the stars (isn’t that romantic?) and to conclude a special Namaste brunch that will be held at the Hotel de Paris. Amongst the Indians attending are Maharana Shriji Arvind Singhji Mewar of Udaipur. Fashion designers (and close friends of the Bachchan clan) Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla and Raghavendra Rathore. While we can predict that Bachchan matriarch Jaya will stick to her favoured Abu-Sandeep ensemble, we can’t help but wonder what will the bahu, Aishwairya opt for Elie Saab or Manish Malhotra?
