Karan Johar’s production of Chetan Bhagat’s novel, 2 States, seems to be having trouble in finding a lead actor! Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan was supposed to play lead role and was it to be directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. Then there were rumours that Ranbir Kapoor was the main man.
However, last we heard, Imran Khan had expressed interest in the film but now it turns out he has date issues! The film’s co-producer, Sajid Nadiadwala, wanted production to start latest by November but Imran has already been tied up for a film with Tigmanshu Dhulia and promotions for another film with Vishal Bharadwaj.
As of now, there is no news on who will land the plum role but we’ll keep you in the loop!
