Three of B-town’s hottest divas are all set to lock horns at the box office. It’s going to be one big battle as Kareena Kapoor, Preity Zinta and Sridevi who have all been at the top of their game (at different points of time) have a big movie out on September 21st.
While Sridevi’s making a huge comeback to the silver screen (after fifteen years) with English Vinglish, there is a lot at stake for the other two actresses as well.
Preity’s Ishqk In Paris is so crucial as she wants to win over the box office again in her comeback of sorts. (We couldn’t find a trailer on YouTube but it’s apparently based on Before Sunrise so you might as well watch that one and just picture a few epic-ly gushy song and dance sequences)
And, there is a lot riding on Madhur Bhandarkar‘s Heroine which has been marred by controversy and could be one of Kareena’s most memorable flicks ever if she manages to pull off the role with conviction.
While Madhur wishes to release the movie on the 21st (which is also Bebo’s birthday), according to TOI, the producers (Eros International) of Sridevi’s English Vinglish might bow out of the race and delay the release by a couple of weeks.
I am super excited about all three movies and I’m sure the audience will love them too. Do you think all three leading ladies can set the cash registers ringing and which one of these are you most looking forward to? Leave a comment below!
