How, How, How Dapper is Spider-Man Looking…???

Andrew Garfield as the teenage Peter Parker/Spider-Man

At the Berlin premiere and the photocall of The Amazing Spider-Man, last night. Guys ‒ and girlfriends as well!!! ‒ let me show you how Mr Garfield dished out  a sartorial education for all.

For the Berlin premiere of his hotly anticipated, possibly breakout, film, he wore a grey-and-blue windowpane ‘Marseille’ jacket from Gucci’s S/S’12 line. He teamed the bang-on-trend jacket with white dress shirt, black satin tie, grey crewneck sweater and black trousers, all by Gucci, just like his other half the previous day.

Every bloomin’ thing about this outfit is just, just right. Effortlessly stylish. The windowpane jacket is a full-proof way to look very much “in” ‒ yet stylish and quirky. The check perks up the look and gives a pop of colour, like the blue in Andrew’s jacket did. The fit of the jacket is bang on; the shoulders… the arm length… it fits him like a glove. The mix-and-match jacket and trouser combo was another masterstroke, which exuded quite confidence. And most importantly, as you all know by now about me, the trousers were the right length ‒ they did not puddle around the ankles. Guys, watch and learn!

Cheers Ranjit for the heads-up!

The boy’s got flair when it comes to casual wear, too! At the Berlin photocall earlier in the day, which fellow fashion watcher Ranjit pointed out to me, he looked effortlessly hip and stylish ‒ and age-appropriate, too. (Unlike a certain Imran Khan, who’s the same age as Andrew but is forever wearing stuff not in keeping with his face, structure and…age! Yeah, Imran, wear those clobbers when you’re older, just enjoy your youth.)

He went for a black nappa leather bomber jacket with supple suede sleeves from Alexander McQueen‘s S/S’12 line (you can buy it from here!), black slim-fitting jeans and black ‘Converse by John Varvatos’ pro leather trainers (you can purchase it from here :-D). Oh-so-urban, and…

Another gratuitous pic… just ‘cos I want to!!

…delish! I heart Andrew… 😀
