Naach, gaana and Akshay Kumar wearing glares! And the lovely Evelyn Sharma too! That’s what you got an eyeful of at the music launch of From Sydney With Love, a yet-to-be-released Bollywood film.
Held in Juhu, Mumbai, the evening saw a fair share of Bollywood singing and dancing on stage, courtesy the male lead Sharad Malhotra, who looks quite a bit like Ali Zafar.
And just when you thought it was blingy and Bollywoody enough, actor Akshay Kumar came on stage, looking like he’d just stepped off the Men In Black set. He wore a black suit and black dark-glasses (post 9:30pm).
He then went on to make a speech, and released the album of songs from the film amid much fanfare and applause.
The other stars of the film are Prateek Chakravorty, Bidita Bag and Karan Sagoo, all of whom posed happily for the media and invitees.
Nice evening this was!
