Bollywood Publicist Dale Bhagwagar writes in to tell us that village leaders of the Khap Panchayats in Haryana have dropped the idea of inviting superstar Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao for the Mahapanchayat being held at Bibipur village on July 14, to discuss the raging issue of female feticide.
Apparently, the decision was taken as some local panchayat leaders objected to the portrayal of the issue of honour killings and their connection to Khap Panchayats in an episode of Aamir’s show Satyamev Jayate on Star Plus.
But if they have nothing to hide, why behave guilty and not invite the TV presenter for a dialogue? Agree?
