Ever wonder how Christopher Nolan‘s Batman would pair up with 1960’s era Robin? Well somebody did and created a parody video of the time-crossed duo fighting the villain Bane from Dark Knight Rises. I think the depiction is pretty accurate with Robin prancing around causing more of a distraction than helping. Although Robin’s annoying whiny voice does eventually get to Bane.
If you’re unfamiliar with 1960’s Batman here’s what the duo looked like back then. Batman was played by Adam West (my favorite character on Family Guy), and Robin was played by Burt Ward.
Thankfully Batman has gotten progressively cooler and tougher over the years, especially with Nolan at the helm. Take a look at a climatic fight scene from the 60’s compared to one from Dark Knight. Enough said!
