Yesterday, we showed you Mashallah, a song promo from the upcoming Ek Tha Tiger. Many of you had your views on Katrina Kaif‘s dancing skills (or lack thereof, in this case!), but what did you think about Salman Khan? Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant, the brains behind the moves in this song, recently opened up about what it was like working with Sallu. Vaibhavi told Mirror:
“You have to pamper [Salman] a lot. If he likes you, he will do anything. He is all heart. He is always on auto-pilot. I never rush him and give him time. Salman has a certain aura. People don’t go too close. So, whenever we had to change his dupatta or his look, my team would refuse to go to his van. I became his makeup artist and costume designer. But I realised that he feels very shy when people touch him.”
She further went on to say that she had first heard Mashallah in Salman’s vanity van, and knew immediately that she couldn’t give him his usual tapori steps, and in fact had to do something more stylish. But of course since Salman has a huge appeal among the masses, she had to ensure that the moves also catered to them.
