Here at MissMalini, we are always sniffing around for fresh talent. Be it any form. So when JD Design Institute of Fashion Technologyhosted their 22nd Annual Design Awards entitled “Inside”, I was quite excited!
For two whole days, there was a visual extravaganza as senior students showcased their ensembles. Amongst the guests who attended were designers Rohit Bal and Charu Parashar and Bollywood star Deepika Padukone who at the end of the show, got up and shimmied with the students!
The collections had varied themes such as Way of Life, Zero Degree, Shunya Era etc which reflected on the runway. With such an amazing array of talent, from an institution which churned out alumni such as Falguni & Shane Peacock, Rocky S and Maheka Mirpuri, I can’t wait to see what’s next in store for the young students!
