Everyone seems to be talking about the Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor wedding, but an interview Soha Ali Khan gave to TOI recently made us sit up and take notice. Someone doesn’t seem too fussed by the wedding – odd, considering it’s her brother – and in one instance says that she is confused and doesn’t think the date hasn’t been set… while mom Sharmila Tagore says otherwise!
When asked whether she’s looking forward to performing her sisterly duties, Soha said she’s not getting too involved and will do as she’s told when the time arrives. She even says that she hasn’t planned her outfit, and will wear whatever her mother tells her to, since her mom is apparently in charge of everything in this wedding, venue included (we wonder what Kareena’s family has to say about this?)
Soha Ali Khan says: “I’m not getting very involved at this stage. When I’m told to conduct my sisterly duties, I will do as I am told. I don’t know what I am wearing. When the day comes, I will wear whatever my mother says. She is the one who is in control of everything — from the venues to the clothes. She will decide what I’m wearing and I will quietly put it on.”
I don’t know about you, but I get the impression she’s totally disinterested in the wedding, and just wants to do her bare minimum. She doesn’t sound enthusiastic at all, and I wonder why that is – is she not too happy about the wedding? Is she upset because she thinks beau Kunal Khemu hasn’t been properly accepted in the family (though Saif insists that’s not the case)? Or does she just think that a wedding is no big deal? Hard to decide, so I’ll ask you – what do you think?
