Last week we told you about actress Rani Mukherjee berating a group of people for mistreating a street-dog while she was on a film set. Now, the people at PeTA have noted her kind deed and will bestow the Hero To Animals Award on her.
Says Sachin Bangera of PeTA, “The dog would have been terrified and suffered more abuse were it not for Rani’s compassionate and quick action!”
We applaud her courage and actions too, to stand up for a helpless animal.
