Tusshar Kapoor and Neha Sharma recently put in an appearance at the Lawman Pg 3 store for a fashion show and a quick chat about their film, Kya Super Kool Hain Hum (read our review here). Now we know Tusshar does well in his comedy films, but we didn’t know that he was a wisecrack off screen as well… which is why, when he cracked a joke on Salman Khan, we had to let out a laugh.
Tusshar was speaking about his experience working with Neha, and said that he enjoys working with younger actresses, since it makes him feel younger himself. So a journo quipped that it’s probably time for marriage, and Tusshar laughingly said, “But there are a lot of other people in the industry older than I am who haven’t gotten married yet. I wouldn’t like to take any names, but… I’m not the only tiger in the industry.” Haha, nice one, Tusshar!
What was also interesting was when the two were asked what they thought about the new proposal that film stars pay their own staff (and charge the producers a fixed rate to compensate), instead of passing on high per-day salary demands to the producer. Neha said she didn’t know too much about this proposal yet, and if put into place, she’d suck it up and go along with it.
As for Tusshar, he said he likes the proposal in the sense that it will make sure his staff get paid on time, since they will be paid by him – he’d like them to get paid before he does. Of course, that brought up the question of Ekta Kapoor, his sister and producer extraordinaire. Tusshar commented that Ekta pays him the most, and smilingly said, “Only Ekta knows my true value.” Well, what are sisters for, eh?
