Sunday afternoon saw film-maker Rohan Sippy and the cast and crew of his new film go through a harrowing time as his set in Kandivali East in Mumbai got vandalized by people claiming to be from a political party.
While Rohan was shooting with Ayushmann Khurrana at Green Namkeen Mills in Kandivali, a car wanted to pass through the premises but was stopped by the security guards hired by the production company. Angry at not being allowed through, the driver came back with some goons and they bagan to smash the cars, vanity vans, and even the generators. Sources from the set have it that about fifteen miscreants vandalized fourteen vehicles, causing damage in excess of 15 Lakh Rupees. However, while they escaped before the police reached the spot, the driver has been identified as being in the employment of a politician.
