For her forthcoming sophomore collection at Lakmé Fashion Week, designer Payal Khandwala has drawn inspiration from the Sadhu and the Samurai.
Since they represent two extremes, they form the basis of her collection. The line features layered separates that are draped and wrapped on more constructed garments. Like the sketches above indicate, the colour palette features muted shades like coffee browns, burnt orange, charcoal, bronze, indigo and crimson. Certainly one to watch, I can’t wait to see the entire collection! What do you think?
