I did not even make that up right now! According to People.com Snoop Doggy Dog has had a spiritual awakening in Jamaica while recording his album Reincarnated. So now what? Goodbye porn and hello reggae album, documentary and coffee-table photo book – and you guessed it, they’re all called Snoop Lion.
Just FYI his actual real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. (which kinda reminds me of my favorite little cartoon kiddo who, come to think of it has a pet tiger/alter ego himself!) and for his rap fans don’t panic just yet he says he won’t be turning his back on rap completely because as he says, “I could never become Snoop Lion if I wasn’t Snoop Dogg first.” Ain’t that the truth. *lol*
