All you brides-to-be, I have just a few words of advice for you – ensure you make a visit to Bhairavi Jaikishan. The designer who is known for her exquisite and intricate Indian wear did not disappoint, sending out a collection that’s guaranteed to make an appearance at any wedding. The show started off with models outfitted in ivory and gold which then intensified to deeper hues such as rani pink, purples to blacks featuring ornate badla work.

The line entitled ‘A Wonderful World’ marked the designer’s return to the catwalk after a hiatus and it was certainly a triumphant one. The show drew a packed house, with models walking on a pink crushed velvet ramp that gave a sense of grandeur which matched the clothes. Her innovation, the lehenga sari was omnipresent in this collection. Roses were used liberally through 3D appliques and embroidery. Red lips and hair pulled back into buns was the beauty look of the show.
