Or, rather Ram Sampath and Amitabh Bhattacharya have done it again. That is, gone out and come up with another addicting jingle, after last year’s smash Har Ek Friend Zaroori Hota Hai. Click through to check it out ‒ if you haven’t caught it yet (IMPOSSIBLE, it’s on telly All. The. Time.) 😉

The “yoof” of today…

Arrived on the eve of the

totally meaningless

Friendship’s Day, this TVC has a gaggle of

Facebook-obsessed

adolescents bouncing about on an open-top double decker bus and crooning the utterly hummable Jo Mera Hai Woh Tera, juxtaposed with instances of “sharing” amongst friends. Conceptualised by Airtel’s usual ad vendors Taproot India, the TVC aims to ‒ yep, you guessed it right! ‒ make the most of the tendency of today’s youth to “share each other’s lives 24 by 7”.

Love that view of Mumbai…

You like? Although I’m a non-sharing Grinch, I still looooove it! Can’t. Get. The. Jingle. Out. Of. My. Head.

P.S. Here’s the magnum opus Har Ek Friend Zaroori Hota Hai, for auld lang syne… 🙂
