Aparna Badlani and Azmina Rahimtoola of Atosa, the multi-designer boutique at Khar hosted a preview to mark the start of the festive season, on Tuesday 14th August 2012.
Designers showcasing their new lines for the evening were Rahul Misra, Ritika Mirchandani and Suhani Pittie.
Ritika’s designs included a wide range of anarkalis, tunics, jackets and waistcoats with detailed resham and zardozi embroidery.
Actress Ira Dubey attended the preview wearing a vibrant orange creation by Ritika Mirchandani.
Suhani Pittie unveiled a new collection of semi precious jewellery, highlights of which were the Bidri star print, nature motifs like leaves, vines, the swan wing, peacock and the hornbill beak.
Cuffs, bangles, collar bands, neck ornaments, waist belts, earrings, headbands, anklets and brooches for kurtas in Suhani’s signature avante garde style took the guests’ breath away.
Manasi Scott and Zoa Morani attended the preview wearing a belt and neck-piece respectively, by Suhani Pittie.
Spotted at the event were Nisha Javeri, Krishika Lulla, Radhika Mukherjee, Lali Dhawan, Sona Mahapatra, Pratichee, Amrita Puri, Payal Khandwala, Troy Costa, Nishka Lulla and Anita Raaj.
