Nana Patekar has been suffering from a back injury, but still showed up for the photoshoot of Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal on time. The shot in the poster above required Nana to lift up Shreyas Talpade on his back, which should have been problematic due to his injury – but Nana has one rule-of-thumb for dealing with injuries. Here’s what he says.

Nana Patekar says: “Injuries are like guests. If you treat them well and pamper them, they stay back and refuse to go away. You need to be aloof about their existence and they leave as quickly as they came. It is important for each of us to maintain a healthy lifestyle. We need to let go of addictions. I have. So can you. And once you are healthy, go for walks, do yoga and quit bad habits like smoking and drinking, you will be fit and fine.”
Considering he just turned 62 and is still going strong, we gotta believe he knows what he’s talking about!
