Today we kick-off something new on MissMalini.com… our Lust List! We all have some items that we’re willing to break open the piggy bank for (or go mildly stalker-ish on!) In this first edition I offer the top 3 fashion picks that currently have me trying to do some creative math within my savings account. A girl’s gotta dream right?!
1) CHLOÉ Paraty Leather Bag
I normally have an aversion for anything monogrammed, but I still love this chic designer handbag. The Chloé’s ‘Paraty’ bag is high on my list. At Rs. 1,24, 294/- that’s about equal to round trip airfare to the US and back (with some change to spare). So I’m wondering NYC or Chloé this holiday season… tough call.
2) Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ Pumps
Every girl needs a pair of classic black pumps, and Christian Louboutin’s Pigalle pumps fit the bill. It’s no wonder celebs like Rihanna and Blake Lively love to sport them. At approximately Rs 40,000 this would equal about 3 years worth of phone bills… I might have to shut up a bit to work these shoes into the budget!
3) Lanvin Cameo Necklace
My list would be incomplete without mentioning Lanvin. As much as I love Alber Elbaz’s dreamy dresses, it’s their jewellery that attracts the magpie in me. The Cameo necklace is so in vogue right now, and I’m really coveting it. Roughly costing Rs. 1,33,000 I’d be able to work this in if I cut off my morning coffee fix for a good 4-5 years… quite a compromise :/
