Despite the fact that she’s acting in two upcoming horror films (Raaz 3 and Aatma), and has done some in the past (Raaz and Rakht), Bipasha Basu says she’s bad at watching horror films because she scares easily. Still, she loves going to watch them for one reason, and one reason alone – here’s an exclusive sneak peek of what she told Anupama Chopra for tonight’s episode of The Front Row.
Bipasha Basu: You know the best thing I like about horror films is, for me it’s like a group activity, I can’t see horror films alone ever…
Anupama Chopra: So you take your friends?
Bipasha Basu: Its just so much fun to watch because I’m the kind of person who will not even look at that screen all the time and will be looking at my friends and telling them, “So what’s happening now? So what’s happening now?” I’m horrible to watch a horror film with (laughs) but, it’s just so much excitement and involvement when you are watching a film like that because anything can happen at any moment.
I feel you Bips… that’s pretty much why I love watching horror films too. Even better when you’re with a group of friends and you know one of them is very easily scared, so you enjoy doing silly things like poking them and throwing things, just to get a good scream out of them. I will def be taking a group of friends with me for Raaz3!
Watch “The Front Row with Anupama Chopra” tonight at 8:30 p.m. on Star World for the full conversation with Bipasha Basu, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.
