Deepika Padukone has had Salman Khan on her list of actors to work with for a very long time. So, of course, when she heard that Sajid Nadiadwala is now directing Kick, and has not finalized a heroine opposite Salman yet, Deepika was very interested.
We hear that Dippy has spoken to Nadiadwala and asked him to consider her for the project. She already has an equation with him since she’s worked with Nadiadwala for Housefull, so we hear she’s playing her cards well and trying to convince him she’s the perfect choice. Her latest film, Cocktail, earned rave reviews from both critics and audiences, so she definitely has that one her side – and it’s helping her bargain for a higher signing amount as well.
Apparently, Nadiadwala is also considering Sonakshi Sinha and Angela Jonsson for the role, but will take a final decision only once he’s met with Deepika.
