Whoa, another sighting from Christian Dior Autumn 2012 Couture collection, and so soon! This time it was on

Jennifer Lawrence of The Hunger Games fame, who wore one of the more interesting gowns from the collection for the TIFF premiere of her latest film Silver Linings Playbook.
The 1950s style strapless ball gown in Bucol silk − with Sterling Ruby-esque drips of crimson, grey and green − is actually one of my more favourite gowns from the collection. Black pointy heels by Dior, Tiffany & Co. ‘Rubedo’ rose gold cuff and ring, crimson lips and poker straight dark brown hair were Jennifer’s accompaniments for the gown.
SO, what did I think of Jennifer’s look? Although her styling was not too far off from the way it was presented from the runway, something seems to be missing. Maybe it’s the hem length, which falls slightly lower on her and looks awkward. Or, it’s the fact that she seems overawed by the gown. I don’t know. I’m disappointed, just like I was with Jessica Biel’s outing. But what do you all think?

Other than these two, Silver Linings Playbook also stars Robert De Niro – and has Anupam Kher in a supporting role!!!
The film’s an adaptation of the novel by the same name from Matthew Quick, and it comes out on November 21 − until then, check out the trailer… 😉
