To the toast the launch of the new Pan-Asian restaurant Umame, Farrokh & Dilshad Khambatta hosted a special lunch that saw the glitterati out in full support. Guests included Shazan Padamsee, Nisha Jamval, Masaba Gupta, Pooja Bedi, Divya Thakur, Rina Shah, Gary Lawyer, Pheroz Godrej, Raell Padamsee, Narendra Kumar, Atul Kasbekar, Sunil & Tanuja Padwal, Poonam Soni, Tanaaz Doshi and Sheena Sippy. Umame is a different take on the word Unami, which means fifth flavour. The new restaurant replaces Valhalla, housed in the iconic Eros Cinema at Churchgate.
