If you’re looking to get away this Diwali – away from the firecrackers and pollution, book your tickets to Rajasthan! Jaisalmer plays host to the music festival Ragasthan from the 16th to the 18th of November.
Spread out over 3 days, the festival will have 4 stages and over 40 artists. The line-up sure is impressive with Indian rock bands such as Parikrama, Advaita and Brahma playing. In fact, metal act Brahma are performing a special acoustic act. The international line-up includes EDM super group Mother Perera, Negra Pradera and Chalo Africa.
If you want to take a break from the music (who would?) there’s a special nomad market being set up. Adrenaline junkies can duneboard as well sand surf. A camel safari and BBQ are also on offer. The option of camping is also available. Say whaaat?
