The young students of S.N.D.T’s fashion design course are hosting an exhibition at their Juhu campus. Entitled Blooming Bagh they have created a special line of clothes featuring the dyeing phulkari embroidery from Patiala, Punjab.
The reason behind it was simple; as future designers they wanted to preserve our country’s rich textile heritage. The collection comprises of phulkari embroidered hats, clutches, pumps, ties, an evening gown, a jumpsuit, accessories lingerie etc. The exhibition is on till tomorrow at S.N.D.T, Juhu campus from 9-5 pm.
