Anupama: Preity, what is it like to be a thirty-plus actress in Bollywood? Do you feel empowered now that you are making you own movie or is it a space of high insecurity where you are worrying constantly about younger actresses?Preity: I always make my own rules. I’m not being judgmental to anybody and this is how I think – it’s very easy for me to come in my film and wear hundred grams of clothing and look super hot and say, ‘Come on guys! Come into the theaters!’ Nothing sells like sex, so of course I can do that. But I think you have to have your own individual sense and that’s why I went into cricket and did what I wanted to do. I’m not competing on this level or competing on that level because that’s not essentially me. I’ve always been confident wherever you put me. You put me in a jungle, you put me in Hollywood, you put me anywhere, I will find my spot because I didn’t have an insecure childhood and I’m not messed up. I’m pretty normal and sane. I don’t have any issues. So I’m pretty fine.
