The very first People’s Choice Awards was held in Mumbai on October 27th by Color’s TV and as one would expect, the entire Bollywood and glamour industry showed up for the ceremony in their designer best.
Among those who won awards were:
AMITABH BACHCHAN: Best TV host for Kaun Banega Crorepati
EK THA TIGER: The Salman Khan starrer was judged the people’s favourite film.
PRIYANKA CHOPRA: She won best debut for her single, In My City.
RANBIR KAPOOR: He was chosen for the Favourite Youth Movie Icon.
Even sports stars who won medals at the London 2012 Olympics like MC Mary Kom and Sushil Kumar were honoured with awards and they were felicitated by Katrina Kaif.
