Before Kate Middleton hit our radar with her sartorial repetition, Michelle Obama won acclaim in the fashion world by wearing department store brands and upcoming designers such as Jason Wu and Prabal Gurung (who have since hit the big league.) And as you’ve probably read here before, she has an inclination towards Indian designers as well. Last night however, on one of the biggest night of husband’s political career, she opted for a repeat.
Michelle, and husband Barack Obama, certainly had a lot to celebrate last night as he handily won a second term as President. Amid thousands of joyful teary-eyed supports at Obama’s victory speech, Michelle wore a Michael Kors brocade dress that we saw way back in 2010.
She looked elegant and true to form. Looks like she agrees with Priyanka Chopra‘s stylist Ami Patel that it’s cool to repeat!
