Talk about chance pe dance. Upon Barack Obama‘s re-election as President of the United States, the makers of the 2010 Bollywood comedy Phas Gaye Re Obama have now announced that they will be making a sequel of the film!
The film, to be titled Bach Gaye Re Obama, will most likely feature some of the old cast – Rajat Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Sanjay Mishra, Manu Rishi and Amole Gupte – but they are also considering approaching stalwarts like Paresh Rawal and Naseeruddin Shah. Considering the first film was generally quite well-received, I can’t say this is a bad idea – once it lives up to the appreciation of the first film! What do you think?
