Guess how much they’re paying Rekha to judge the next season of Nach Baliye? 75 lakh rupees, that’s how much!
In fact, she was even offered Jhalak Dikhhla before Madhuri Dixit came on board but declined. Her roster of demands includes a personal stylist, a tribute to her in the opening episode (but I mean, that makes total production sense if you ask me, a Rekha tribute is a goldmine!) and that there be no other female on the judges panel. Hmm!
She’s also asked that her fees be hiked if the TRP ratings for the show hits a certain number (but apparently that’s pretty standard because Madhuri got that too.)
Wow, I for one can’t wait to watch Rekha judge a TV reality show, she definitely still has the face for it and I’m surprised that she hasn’t been doing any movies or television at all lately. Looks like finally someone in showbiz is coughing up the dough to bring us a living legend. Nice. Stay tuned this December.
