By now, the Shah Rukh Khan/Salman Khan fall-out is legendary – after having been friends for years, the two had a major fight at Katrina Kaif‘s birthday bash in 2008, and since then have not been on speaking terms. When asked about their issues, the two tend to skirt around the topic, or in some cases make an off-hand joke and put the matter to rest. However, at the HT Leadership Summit recently, SRK opened up more. Here’s what happened.

According to NDTV:

Shah Rukh Khan said: “We have had a little bit of personal issue. This is not the first time, it is about four years ago. We were very close for 20 years… We have certain things that are similar and there are certain things which we disagree on. So at this point of time we are on that plane of disagreement.”

When Katrina Kaif was asked about this, she decided to take the diplomatic route by saying she’d love to see a film with the two of them together, and joked that maybe she would produce it. SRK was then asked directly whether the film would aid in his and Salman’s patch-up, and here’s what he said:

“There may come a time when these things get resolved but it will never be on a public platform. It will be a personal thing. It is a serious matter and it cannot be resolved by working in a film together or if someone asks us to try and resolve the matter. No one else can resolve it for us, only we can do it… It will take time. It may happen someday.”

Well, let’s hope it does happen, ’cause I’m already thinking of a SRK-Salman film (produced by Katrina, no less). I mean, can you even imagine? *lol*
