The final show of Day 2 of India Resort Fashion Week 2012 was held for none other than Neeta Lulla. Her collection was designed specifically for Indian brides that go for destination weddings.
The show kick-started with vedic chants being played as the models walked out in black kurtas with lots of gold applique lace details. Shimmering harem pants with sheer kurti tops worn over bikinis can easily take your wardrobe from day to night!
The show then progressed to lehengas and anarkalis, and palazzo pants being paired with kurtis. The colour palette was a fun selection of pinks, oranges, turquoises, reds and mango yellows. You could tell that sheer was a big trend in her collection with almost every other piece having that element. Saris were paired with bra tops – perfect for a beach wedding! Just love the neon pops of colour, clearly aimed at fashion conscious brides. We like!
Hair was styled in high buns on the models, and the make-up was bright lips & long exaggerated lashes.
For her final look Neeta roped in Genelia Deshmukh to walk the ramp wearing a peach net lehenga, and shimmering long sleeved kurta with crochet back. Her sunny smile was the perfect ending to Day 2 of IRFW on the gorgeous beaches of Candolim Goa!
