We here at MissMalin love it when people volunteer their time and energy in support of the creative arts, so when we heard about FOCUS Festival, we knew we had to help! FOCUS is a being billed as Mumbai’s first photography festival, and this year will be centered on the theme of “The City”. Venues across Mumbai such as museums, art galleries, outdoor spaces, restaurants, cafes, boutiques and other public places will all open their doors to display the best of Indian and international photography. And the best part is, it will be entirely free and open to all!
So what’s the catch? In order to pull off this labour of love, the organizers are looking at crowdfunding to help them get off the ground. Donations of any size will help them in their mission towards spreading the love of photography, so here’s your chance to be an active benefactor to Mumbai’s art scene.
